The nature of of cloud-native applications is rapidly advancing with a fundamentally different architecture that will rely on service meshes with smarter proxies and enhanced observability for autonomous cooperating microservices, serverless functions, and arbitrarily complex workflows. In this session we will highlight the changes and exploit some of the latest tools and frameworks in the Docker and cloud-native ecosystem to transform the venerable, canonical Docker Voting App into a application on the cutting edge of 2018 technology.
