The rise of bots is here, and I'm sure you've been hearing a lot of buzz about chatbots, voicebots, and AR/VR in the tech industry today. If you have chatted with an automated telephonic system or a virtual assistant like Siri, Cortana, Amazon Echo, or Google Home, you’ve interacted with a bot before. As the product manager for IBM Watson Developer Labs & AR/VR Labs, this will be an opportunity to hear from me about what it’s like building tools for developers with a specific focus on conversational interfaces including chatbots, voicebots, IoT, and conversations in AR & VR. I’ll also be sharing my personal experience being a woman in STEM, advice for other women looking to enter the field, the importance of finding a mentor and a sponsor.
