We made a platform helping teachers to create and manage multi-user dynamic virtual environments. Programming skills are not required. The platform enables people to create a smooth workflow of an integration of 3D and VR content into one e-learning process. Based on the platform, we created the industry-specific solution and started working on a pilot project (cabin crew training). In that project, we use a blended learning approach. Our product is integrated with LMS (using xAPI); teachers can create a unique session for every student or a team. Because a VR environment is highly interactive, the amount of statistics data per session is enough to call it Big Data and apply Data Analytics, Data Mining. We use that to identify gaps in knowledge for every student and create individual learning trajectories. Because we collect Big Data, we can create a personalized learning path for one student or a team within the framework of a few sessions and update the path based on new training data. That makes training truly personal. We have presented early project results at APATS conference in Singapore. At DeveloperWeek 2018, we want to share lessons we learned while working in three fields—Virtual Reality, Big Data, Cloud Computing—and how developers can leverage that intersection.
